What is your current I.T. infrastructure that supports your scanning work?
We are currently located in a new state of the art building that currently is setup for 60 plus workstations, which is expandable to over 100. We have internal infrastructure that supports network connectivity and broadband capacity for over 100 users. We have staff that is certified in A+, Networking Essentials, and they are currently obtaining M.C.S.E. Certifications. Our core staff is trained in Graphics Conversion, Data Conversion, Data Collection Storage and Analysis, with competency in S.G.M.L. and X.M.L. Coding. We are skilled in all versions of Microsoft Windows, as well as all Microsoft Office Packages. We do specialize in Web Design, as well as deployment. We run Microsoft Windows Server 2004, with Exchange 2003, and have multi levels of redundancy, for data protection. We also have a state of the art secure Vault that is both fire proof and weather proof for further protection of hard copy versions of text.
What volume of scanning can you handle and in what time frame?
We are capable of doing any size project that includes scanning, as we will run 3 consecutive shifts for data conversion using our scanning process. We are currently expandable to include more capacity for scanning as needed. We are now capable of doing over 50,000+ pages of straight text pages, 8 1/2 x 11, in one 8 hour shift, on our two new Panasonic scanners, which are rated to run at over 60 pages per minute to 3,600 pages per hour of straight 8 1/2 x 11 text. We are also able to scan documents that are rated oversize in both width and length, and the time for scan will be determined by the D.P.I. setting that is applied to the contractual specifications. We also scan in both Color and Black and White for client convenience. All of the specifications are of course negotiable and we cater to our client’s unique needs and criteria, as each contract requires individualized special attention.
Can you d
o color scanning?
All of our scanners are capable of doing high quality color scanning of up to 600 D.P.I. settings, per client specifications.
Can you do image enhancement?
We are capable of doing image enhancement and we have various software solutions that cater to this direct need. We use Abby Finereader, Corel Draw, and Microsoft Picture Manager, and proprietary software that come with our standard scanning hardware. We are capable of doing image enhancement in-house and we are also able to provide collaborative solutions with some of our partnering companies, to include AutoCAD conversion as well as schematic digital conversion specified by our clients direct needs.
Can you do Meta data creation?
We have done various Meta Data creations for numerous clients that meet and exceed their expectations. We are happy to provide this collaborative solution designed to meet your specifications.
What is your current staffing level and skill sets available?
We are currently staffed with 21 employees with capabilities for future and immediate expansion needs. We have a very highly qualified employment candidate pool for future employment needs. Our current employees have a myriad of experiences in X.M.L., S.G.M.L., and Text to P.D.F., conversion training that incorporates optimal levels of Quality Control, as well as specialized Meta data creation. We have certified employees in A+, Networking Essentials, and ongoing MCSE certifications. Richard Mayer, the current C.E.O. has over ten years of supervisory experience in the Information Technology Field, with two Masters degrees, the latter being in Business Administration. He started this company over 5 years ago, and brings with him a long list of academic and professional accomplishments. The current Production Managers have over 20 years of combined supervisory experience and they also bring a myriad of professional knowledge related to the Informational Technology field. Can you handle classified documents?
We are not currently licensed to handle classified material, but we do sign non-disclosure statements with our clients, as we understand the need for confidentiality of our client’s documents. Employees are also required to sign non-disclosure statements for the internal security of proprietary information. All documents are securely stored in our Internal Vault that is both Fire Proof as well as Weather proof that provides our clients with the knowledge that there information is both safe and secure. We also provide levels of data redundancy to protect the digital data, from corruption and loss. We also have capable in-house processes for the destruction and shredding of documents that are reliant on our clients’ specifications for destruction and disposal.
Do you have document shredders and secure disposal?
We do have adequate in-house shredders for the destruction of documents and secure disposal facilities.
